Unfortunately, it will surely be long, at best, highly selective – and, more likely, characteristically thoroughly dishonest. Put simply, Biden inherited from Donald Trump a world largely at peace; Biden bequeaths to him one engulfed in chaos and conflict. To pick but one particular disaster area, Team Biden’s decision to enrich, empower and embolden Iran and to undermine Israel and its government has produced a nine-front region-wide war. The U.S. administration’s embrace of a Turkish proxy and al Qaeda operative to run Syria – encouraging European allies and other to do the same – greatly compounds the danger.
