Trump Pursues Victory in Gaza:

A Long-overdue U.S. Ultimatum
on Hostages, and Liberation of the Strip
from Hamas and Its Supporters

WASHINGTON, D.C.— Donald Trump concluded his first three weeks back in the White House with a powerful demonstration of his commonsensical approach to the conflict in Gaza – and his determination to defeat Hamas, the odious terrorist group that has long dominated and plundered that territory and its people. On the margins of a signing ceremony for his latest batch of path-breaking executive actions and orders, the President gave those Sharia-supremacists until noon on Saturday to release every one of their hostages. Should they fail to do so, he reaffirmed his promise that “all hell will break loose.”

In addition, Mr. Trump established yet again that he is intent on: removing every single resident of Gaza from what he describes as a dangerous “demolition zone”; building safe and comfortable communities in Egypt, Jordan and/or other states to house them; and then developing the liberated areas into prized parts of the civilized world.

The President’s vision has been adamantly rejected by Arab nations who transparently are indifferent to the needs of Palestinians. He nonetheless seems implacably certain they will come around in due course – the right signal to be sending as he heads into White House visits by King Abdullah of Jordan and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.

The latter has chosen this moment to move armored forces into the Sinai in proximity to Israel and in violation of the peace agreement between Egypt and Israel. And the ceasefires in Gaza and Lebanon seem about to collapse, perhaps to the catastrophic detriment of Hamas, Hezbollah and their mullah masters in Tehran.
