As Jews in Israel and around the world celebrated one of their faith’s most revered holy days, Rosh Hashanah, the United Nations was exhibiting its default enmity towards the Jewish State by simultaneously scheduling deliberations on international efforts to foist on her a Palestinian one. With recognition of such a state conferred by Britain, Australia, Canada and France, diplomats are frantically seeking to ensure Hamas’ survival and stave off its decisive defeat at Israel’s hands.

To his credit, President Trump dismissed this delusional exercise in futility saying in part during remarks before the UN General Assembly: “Now, as if to encourage continued conflict, some of this body is seeking to unilaterally recognize a Palestinian state… Instead of giving in to Hamas’s ransom demands, those who want peace should be united with one message: release the hostages now!”

The next briefing jointly sponsored by the Victory Coalition and Israel 365 Action will take place today from 2-3 p.m. ET. It will examine the UN’s proceedings to date and, in particular, during this year’s General Assembly meetings with respect to: Israel and Gaza; the Palestinian state gambit featuring a French proposal for UN “invasions” of Gaza and Judea and Samaria; and more broadly the implications of “global governance” – accompanied by so-called “reforms” of the UN designed to attenuate U.S. influence and dispense with its veto – for Judeo-Christian civilization and the security of its leading nations.
