The Ayatollahs Have Lied, Again;
They Must Go Now

WASHINGTON, D.C.— While much of the world’s elites have been focused on a fractious debate in Davos over the future status of Greenland and the prospects for the NATO alliance, tectonic shifts are taking place in the Middle East that require urgent attention.

During weeks of massive protests across Iran, President Trump: warned that nation’s jihadist regime not to use violence to suppress them; encouraged the unrest to continue; and declared it was time for the supreme leader to go. The ayatollahs, nonetheless, savagely crushed the uprising with impunity.

And vicious retribution reportedly continues unchecked.

The magnitude of the danger associated with leaving the perpetrators of such crimes unpunished and in power is hard to overstate. They would assuredly be emboldened not only to bring more death to the people of Iran. They will relentlessly seek to bring death to Israel and death to America, as well.

Friday’s Victory Coalition briefing from 11:00 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. ET will take stock of reports that U.S. military forces have been deployed over the past few weeks to within striking distance of key regime targets. If true, the President will have military options available to him despite the refusal of Qatar and Saudi Arabia to allow their territories to be used for warfare against Iran.

We will also consider whether, if such options are actually exercised, the people of Iran – who have suffered grievously for taking to the streets demanding the removal of the mullahocracy – will resume the kinds of concerted and sustained counterrevolutionary activity necessary finally to bring it down.
