Texas Leads the Nation: Gov. Abbott Designates the Muslim Brotherhood and Its Leading Front Group, C.A.I.R., as International Terrorist and Transnational Criminal Organizations
Federal and Other State Governments Must Do the Same

WASHINGTON, D.C.— Texas Governor Greg Abbott yesterday designated the Muslim Brotherhood and the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) as foreign terrorist and transnational criminal organizations. He explicitly subjected those groups and “any persons promoting or aiding their criminal activities” to prosecution pursuant to state law.
These initiatives are long overdue, urgently needed and templates for what must be done across America.
After all, Texas is just ground-zero for efforts by the Brothers, CAIR and other sharia-supremacists to subvert our constitutional republic and impose instead their totalitarian rule.
Fortunately, a Republican primary ballot measure next spring will afford voters a chance to endorse a Texas prohibition of such efforts to supplant our Constitution as “the supreme law of the land.”
But the jihadists of the Muslim Brotherhood and front groups like CAIR explicitly aspire to take down our entire country. They must be stopped, now.
